Will Amar Singh of SP, the next Power Minister?

This blog is not meant for political news, but yes, if any political move creates the opportunity to make money in the market then one should not ignore that.....Anil ambani companies are flying higher and higher due to his close proximity with Amar Singh, a SP leader.

Now the question is which cabinet berth Amar Singh gets, Coal ministry is already booked by our own Sibu Soren of JMM, Power ministry will be soon vacated by congress minister, so IF, Amar Singh gets this berth then it will be easy for Anil to persue "Reliance Power" projects and also getting more contracts.....Power is the next boom in making, so opportunity is high there.

News Update...

Signalling a marked shift from its stand, the Samajwadi Party on Friday indicated it was open to accepting cabinet berths in the UPA government.

A minor cabinet reshuffle is likely early next month ahead of Parliament’s monsoon session starting on August 11.

Sources said no formal proposal had been received from the SP. Presently, there is just one vacancy in the Union cabinet and the Congress might have to drop some of its own ministers to accommodate the SP. Whenever the cabinet is expanded, the Congress will need to accommodate Shibu Soren, who has demanded a minister of state portfolio.

There are indications that the Congress would not be able to offer more than three cabinet berths. “Given our parliamentary strength, we should get 11 cabinet berths, but it is another matter that we are not asking for anything”, a senior SP leader had earlier said. There is speculation the SP might pitch for nine berths.

Congress has 10 months left to complete its five-year term. The current power minister, Sushil Kumar Shinde, might be moved to Maharashtra as chief minister, creating a vacancy, top sources in the government said.
